Software Metrics For An Efficient Design Of Ontologies

Abstract

Ontology plays an important role in the design of semantic web. Ontologies enable the semantic web with a detailed description of the domain concepts. To reduce the complexity of the ontology an efficient design is required. To propose the metrics for obtaining an efficient design is the main goal of this research. The metrics have been proposed along with their validation. The results are satisfactory.
