Many boundary value problems that arise in real life situations defy analyticalsolutions; hence numerical techniques are the best source for finding the solution of such equations. Inthis paper, a compact method for homogeneous telegraph equation is developed, and comparison of thecompact method with the second order scheme is also given. We have obtained results bothnumerically and graphically. We used FORTRAN 90 for the calculations of the numerical results andMS office for the graphical comparison.
